CONDITION REPORT

Case is in overall very good condition with very slight signs of wear. Dial is nice and clean. Luminor dots material is intact and original, and the patina matches the hands. Movement is running and the date function performs correctly at midnight. The watch is nearly NOS.

PERSONAL NOTES

What can I say? Again, a really rare and cool Rolex watch. The REAL McCOY`s did a great job. I would say that this is one of the first customised watches in the world, from years before Pro Hunter, Bamfordwatches and Projectxdesigns came around the corner. With the serial no. 2, is this a fantastic piece of Rolex customised history. And in my opinion, still the nicest with only discreet additions on the dial. I would say, one of the coolest pilot watches you can get! US army General Charles Elwood “Chuck” Yeager was the first man to break the sound barrier. He achieved this feat on board an X-1 aircraft in 1947, and he did so with a Rolex on his wrist. The Real McCoy`s Company decided in the late 90s to celebrate this historical event with an extremely limited number of Rolex GMT Master 16710 watches.
