CONDITION REPORT

Case is in overall very good condition with slight signs of wear. Dial is very nice and clean. Luminor material is intact and original and the patina is matching to the hands. Movement is running and the date function performs correctly at midnight. Movement is in excellent over all condition. The bracelet is a later one. The watch was serviced in 2008 from Rolex UK.

This is the reason why i love vintage watches! The fact that this watch was sold 1973 on an navy base is so cool. This is a real navy watch! And additionally one of the nicest Rolex Explorer II straight hand you can find. The dial is super nice and clean with a light patina. The luminor material of the original hands matching perfect to the dial. The color of the orange hand, the dial, the case are just amazing. In the set are the original punched Rolex guarantee, an additional guarantee with the “navy exchange” stamp, the calendar from 1973, a Rolex service guarantee from 1975 and a new one from 2008. Original box with outer packing!
